Quest's Journey of Marketing and Design

My digital marketing and design skills come from hands-on experience, institutional learning, and self-teaching. I started by having my own Youtube channel when I was 15 and running a fan-page site bsed on various TV shows and music groups. During that time, I developed my skills of video production, photoshop, and storytelling. Through theatre, I have had the opportunity to take on different roles and responsibilities in social media. For instance, during high school, I learned about the inner-workings of social media and digital marketing as a Social Media Assistant for the Maryland State Thespian Festival. The next year I was promoted to Social Manager!
In addition, as a Work Study and Graduate Assistant for Cal Theatre, one of my responsibilities was social media management and graphic design. During that time, I was introduced to and mastered Canva. For about 3 years, I worked on social media planning, designed show posters, and crafted graphics for social media to market performances and events. As a Graduate Assistant, due to my increase in duties, I collaborated with another social media manager and delegated projects to work studies.
Recently, I finished a part time time job as a TikTok Content Creator for Carnegie Learning, which gave my the experience of marketing content for a company's new social network. In my down time, I like to roller skate, read, and watch TV with my cat María. I also like creative activities that keep my brain stimulated: such as up-cycling, painting/drawing, and found object construction. Being creative is my favorite form of expression!
